Roof Sheathing

Atlas Ward Company treats each design individually and for this reason we do not offer standard solutions for roof sheathing. Optimal kind of roof sheathing is selected depending on conditions that are to be met by a specified object.

This is what distinguishes us from among many other system halls, offering only one sheathing solution.

Presented kinds of roof sheathing are system arrangements we recommend, accessible with various kinds and thickness of thermal insulation. If there are special requirements in a project, we are able to satisfy them by suggesting special solutions adjusted to the needs of a particular design.

We always guarantee what is most important in a roof: leakproofness, thermal insulation, resistance to weather conditions, durability.

Suggested kinds of roof sheathing:

Trapezoidal sheet

  • low-profile trapezoidal sheet
  • used in objects without heating
  • minimal roof pitch: 10%
  • roof purlin spacing: 1, 5 to 2,00 m
  • possibility of using semi-transparent panels in the shape of trapezoidal sheet

Sheet + wool + panel with a seam

  • roof panels connected with a standing seam [without connector]
  • distancing element
  • medium-density mineral wool
  • bottom low-profile trapezoidal sheet
  • minimal roof pitch: 5%
  • roof purlin spacing: 2,00 to 2,50 m
  • an advantage of his solution is lack of thermal bridges, because as opposed to sheet-wool-sheet system, insulation is of constant thickness - no wool compression takes place

Sheet + wool + foil

  • insulation from foil, welded sheeting, membrane or EPDM
  • medium-density mineral wool (or high-density) mechanically connected with the sheet
  • low-profile trapezoidal sheet

Sandwich panels

  • a panel is formed from external sheet plates with filling inside
  • a filling can be from: polyurethane, mineral wool or foamed polystyrene
  • special lock and washer ensure good insulation and fire resistance
  • minimal roof pitch: 5% [without connecting panels], 8% [panels connected at the roof slope]
  • roof purlin spacing: 2,00 to 2,50 m
  • possibility of using semi-transparent panels in the shape of roof panel

Sandwich panels with PVC membrane

  • sandwich panel with PVC foil instead of external sheet plate
  • used on roofs of small pitch, when high leakproofness is required due to roof penetrations
  • a filling: polyurethane
  • special lock and washer ensure good insulation and fire resistance
  • panels are leakproof and fire resistant - documented by research
  • minimal roof pitch: 2%
  • roof purlin spacing: 2,00 to 2,50 m

Accessories:

  • ridge skylights
  • roof slope skylights
  • domed skylights
  • wind-driven roof vents
  • smoke vents
